By using Thumbly you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
What Thumbly does
Thumbly generates thumbnail images using AI, from the description you write and any photo you choose to add. Output is generated automatically and will vary; we do not guarantee any particular result, appearance, or performance of a thumbnail on any platform.
Subscriptions and credits
- Generating thumbnails requires an auto-renewing subscription. There is no free tier and no free trial. Browsing the template and style library is free.
- Three plans are offered: weekly (10 thumbnails per week), monthly (80 thumbnails per month), and yearly (111 thumbnails per month, billed once a year).
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in the iOS Settings app under your name → Subscriptions.
- Each generated variant costs one credit. Plan credits are granted at the start of each allowance period — every week on the weekly plan, every month on the monthly and yearly plans — and do not roll over.
- If a generation fails, the credits reserved for it are returned to you.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us the limited right to process them solely to generate your thumbnails, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Thumbnails you generate may be used commercially, including on monetised channels.
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any photo or reference image you upload — including the right to use the likeness of any person shown in it.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for what you create. You must not use Thumbly to generate:
- Sexual or pornographic imagery, or any sexualised depiction of a minor.
- Imagery depicting children or minors.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm.
- Hate symbols or extremist content.
- A likeness of a real person without their permission, including public figures, or any deepfake or impersonation.
- Anything unlawful, or that infringes another person's copyright, trademark or other rights.
We screen submissions automatically and review reported content. We may remove content and permanently block a device that breaches these rules.
Reporting and takedown
Report content with the flag icon on any result, from Settings → Report a Problem, or by emailing athiraharitham23@gmail.com. Reports are actioned within 24 hours. Rights holders may use the same address for copyright or publicity-rights complaints.
Availability and liability
Thumbly is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and image generation depends on third-party providers. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
